Many people these days want things fast. They want their
food fast, they want to lose weight fast, and almost everyone wants money fast.
It is becoming more and more popular to get your teeth whitened, and why not?
It’s a fast and effective way to get noticeable results. It cuts down the
process drastically, and really gives your teeth a glow that you have always
dreamed about. Sometimes people forget that they just went through a process that
really takes a toll on their teeth.
After the whitening your teeth are very sensitive, and it is important
to keep in mind the food you are eating and drinks your drinking.
Beware the
acid!
Foods and beverages with high acidity will undoubtedly have
a negative effect on your teeth. Because of the high sensitivity your teeth
will feel after being exposed to the bleaching chemicals; foods with low ph
levels such as lemons will cause you to have a great deal of pain.
Spice is not
nice
Something you should definitely avoid would be spice like
curry and saffron. There are many more to be aware of, so it would be best to
steer clear of any spice based foods. Indian and Spanish foods are typically
the ones to watch out for.
Dark
Disaster
The stains on your teeth come from drinking dark drinks like
coffee or soft drinks, and eating dark foods like chocolate or blueberries.
These dark tones are much more likely to stain your teeth so avoid them at all
cost. If you do choose to drink dark drinks it is a good idea to use a straw.
The Cold
War
Like I said before, your teeth are very sensitive. Cold
foods and beverages will give you a ton of pain after going through with the
whitening. Be sure to avoid things like ice cream, ice in your drinks, or
anything cold.
If it is a must and you are in dire need of these foods or
drinks, it is recommended to rinse your mouth or even brush your teeth after
consuming those certain things you can’t live without.
